Front and rear brake pad replacement, caliper cleaning, piston retraction, pad-pin installation, and brake re-seating.
I replace and service the front and rear brake pads on the Concours 1400. I cover caliper removal, pad pins and anti-rattle springs, pad wear indicators, cleaning the caliper pistons before retracting them, pad orientation, reassembly, and torque values. I also demonstrate the quicker pad-only removal method and explain how to verify the pads are captured correctly before pumping the brakes back into position.
