I change and flush the brake and clutch fluid on the Concours 1400 using fresh DOT 4 fluid. I cover the front and rear brake reservoirs, caliper bleeders, clutch reservoir and slave-cylinder bleeder, and demonstrate both a hand vacuum pump and a one-way bleeder valve. I also share practical tips for keeping the reservoirs full, watching fluid condition, setting final levels, and avoiding air in the hydraulic systems.
